Terms of Service

Last updated 15 September 2026

These terms apply when you use Worldview, whether or not you have an account. By using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Worldview brings together camera feeds and open data that their publishers make available to the public, and presents them on a map with tools to watch and understand them. We don't operate the cameras. Any feed can change, slow down or disappear at any time, and we don't guarantee that a particular camera, region or data layer will be available.

2. Accounts

  • Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and sign-in methods secure, and for activity on your account.
  • Each seat is for one person. Don't share a login between people.

3. Plans and billing

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • If something isn't right, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase of a paid plan.
  • We may change prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a change affects your subscription.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these terms. It explains, among other things, that Worldview must never be used to identify or follow people.

5. Third-party content

Camera imagery, video and data belong to the agencies, cities and publishers who share them. Using Worldview doesn't give you any rights to that content. You may not re-stream feeds, record them for redistribution, or download them in bulk.

6. API

  • API use is subject to the rate limits and daily quotas of your plan.
  • API keys are personal. Keep them secret and don't share them.
  • You may not resell API access or the data it returns as a competing service.

7. Disclaimers

Worldview is provided "as is". It is not an emergency service and must not be used for emergency response or other safety-critical decisions. Vehicle insights and cross-camera links are statistical hypotheses and can be wrong.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to Worldview is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

9. Termination

You can stop using Worldview and delete your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we'll let account holders know by email or in the product before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
