Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 15 September 2026

Worldview exists to help people understand conditions on roads and in cities. It is not a tool for watching individuals. This policy applies to everyone who uses Worldview, including through the API.

You may not

  • Stalk, harass or monitor specific individuals.
  • Try to identify people, or read licence plates, from any feed.
  • Combine Worldview with facial recognition or licence-plate recognition systems.
  • Re-stream feeds, record them for redistribution, or bulk-download them against their publishers' terms.
  • Scrape the service other than through the API.
  • Get around plan limits, CAPTCHAs or other access controls.
  • Use Worldview for unlawful surveillance of any kind.
  • Rely on Worldview as the only source of information for emergency decisions.

Enforcement

If you break this policy we may suspend or close your account and revoke your API keys, without a refund. Where the law requires it, we may also report unlawful use.

For camera publishers

We only list cameras that their owners publish for the public, and we credit every source by name with a link to its site on each camera and on our coverage page.

Removal or correction

If you publish a camera and want it removed, or its name, location or credit corrected, contact our contact form with the camera's link on Worldview or on your own site. Tell us whether you want the camera removed or corrected.

Our response

We aim to act on every publisher request within 5 business days, and we'll confirm by email when it's done.
